The invention relates to a toggle-link control mechanism driven by a handle for manual actuation and an automatic trip. The toggle link 44 is coupled up to a trip hook 56 co-operating, in the primed position, with a lock 66 of a latching system with roller 72. The lock 66 is mounted pivotably on an axle 80 and includes a guide slot 78 through which the bar 72 passes with clearance, the latter being inserted between a first and a second rolling ramp 74, 76 which are arranged respectively on the hook 56 and the lock 66.
