<p>PURPOSE:The titled reagent, consisting of an immunological complex of HBs antigenic synthetic polypeptide and HBs antibody, either one of the synthetic peptide and antibody being labeled, the other being immobilized, capable of detecting hepatitis B viruses by simple operation and useful for diagnosis of the hepatitis B. CONSTITUTION:A reagent for measuring HBs antigen, obtained by synthesizing a peptide, expressed by formula I (R<4> is H or protecting group of mercapto group), formula II or III, etc., and capable of analyzing hepatitis B viral antigen and having antigenicity by the chemical means to give an HBs antigenic synthetic peptide, administering the resultant HBs antigenic synthetic peptide to a BALB/C mouse, collecting splenic cells from the immunized mouse, fosing the collected splenic cells to myelomtous cells to give a hybridoma, cloning the hybridoma, cultivating the cloned hybridoma to afford an HBs antibody, labeling either one of the HBs antigenic synthetic peptide and HBs antibody, immobilizing the other in a carrier, etc., and reacting both to afford the aimed immunological complex.</p> |
