A 90 degree to 180 degree pivot joint or hinge, using a stop A to allow it to open to 180 degrees but no further and a stop B to allow it to close to 90 degrees but no further. The pivot joint or hinge includes a pivot pin C about which the hinged components rotate from the open position to the closed position and vice versa. The pivot joint or hinge is designed so that when opened to 180 degrees it allows the component to lie flush to one another.
