The dish-shaped antenna (1) has a cylindrical waveguide (6) connected to its focus. At intervals between the focus and the terminated (13) end of the waveguide are coaxial resonant cavities (8). The cavities may have one (16) or more (14,15) outlet ports. The number and alignment of the slot apertures between the inside of the waveguide (6) and the resonant cavities (8) are chosen to select the propagation modes for the signals required at the outlet ports. The signals from the various ports can be further processed to obtain sum and difference data.
