PURPOSE:To reduce the number of expensive photoelectric converters and to obtain an economical remote radio equipment by providing a high speed line concentrating switch unit in a subscriber's line terminating office, concentrating the lines and connecting it with a common high speed distribution switch part. CONSTITUTION:In respective station terminating circuits 111, high speed digital information is separated from a signal channel. The high speed digital information is inputted to the high speed line collecting switch unit 112 and transmitted to a connection cable 40 between the units through the line concentrating photoelectric converter 60. The signal channel is accommodated in a signal channel multiplex separation circuit 113 and multiplexed to one signal highway 45. In a high speed line concentrating switch control information extracting circuit 114, a specific time slot from the high way 45 is extracted, the control order of the unit 112 is supplied to a switch control part 115, and the control part 115 controls the unit 112 based on this order. The high speed distribution switch part 120 draws the high speed digital information from the respective subscriber's line terminating office device 110 through the cable 40 and distributes the high speed digital information.
