PURPOSE:To update operation management information easily in a short period by inserting an IC card, where update information is stored preliminarily, to a card insertion hole to update operation management information. CONSTITUTION:It is discriminated by a discriminating means D that the IC card where update information of operation management information is stored is accepted by a card accepting means B, and a processing means E updates operation management information stored in a storage means A in accordance with update information stored in the IC card. When a transaction card for customer is accepted by the card accepting means B, a processing means C performs a prescribed processing including collation between information stored in the IC card and operation management information stored in the storage means A.
