PURPOSE:To enable high-speed stable recording by high repeated drive frequency, by providing a heating means to the opposite side of an orifice apart from an emitting energy generating means and arranging a fluid resistance body having an opening between both means. CONSTITUTION:Heat energy is supplied to a recording liquid by operating a heating means 105 and an emitting energy generating means 101 and a foaming phenomenon is generated in the recording liquid by said heat energy to form steam bubbles 205, 201 in the recording liquid at the parts contacted with the means 105, 101. The formation of a liquid droplet 203 is effected during such a process that steam bubbles 201 due to the emitting energy generating means 101 grow by foaming and contract themselves. Because an opening is provided to a fluid resistance body 104, the supply of the recording liquid is not obstructed and a time required in guiding the liquid to an orifice is shortened and recording at high repeated drive frequency is enabled. Further, the fluid resistance body 104 and the steam bubbles 205 due to the heating means 105 are coupled with each other to increase the resistance of a nozzle 103 toward a liquid chamber and the contribution rate of acting force on emission is enhanced and the flight speed of the liquid droplet is made high and stale. |
