PURPOSE: A feeder head part cutting apparatus of a rolling roll and a method thereof are provided to strike a blow through a striking part on a wedge cutting a feeder head part of a rolling roll, thereby preventing a safety accident beforehand. CONSTITUTION: A feeder head part cutting apparatus of a rolling roll comprises a supporting part(20), a wedge(40), and a striking part(30). The supporting part supports one side of a rolling roll manufactured by a roll mold. The wedge is formed on both ends of the rolling roll and is inserted into a cut-out part which is partially incised by a blade. The striking part strikes the wedge in a vertical direction, and is installed with space from the supporting part. The striking part is formed in a vertical direction and with one side fixed on the floor, installed on the lower end of the body formed with a cylindrical shape, and composed of a lifter lifting a blow object(33) which is installed in the inside of the upper end of the body to be lifted inside the body. The blow object is made of wood. The supporting part comprises a supporting body formed with a supporting groove installed to support one side of the rolling roll and a transfer unit transferring both parts of the supporting part divided into both sides with the center of the supporting part as a center to both sides.
