PURPOSE: An emergency braking device for a vehicle is provided to effectively stop the vehicle even in a situation hard to sufficiently brake on the vehicle as a braking force is actuated by a frictional force of a braking pad. CONSTITUTION: An emergency braking device for a vehicle comprises a braking pad, a driving device(20), and a control unit(30). The braking pad is arranged in the front or rear sides of wheels(2). The braking pad is made of flexible rubber or synthetic resin with high frictional coefficient. The driving device is connected to the braking pad. The control unit is connected to the driving unit, thereby controlling the operation of the driving device.
