BRAKE DISK WITH DIFFERENT MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A brake disk made of different materials is provided to lighten the weight of a brake disk while satisfying the required mechanical characteristics and to improve workability and stability in assembling a disk part and a hat part. CONSTITUTION: A brake disk comprises a disk part(1) and a hat part(5) made of different materials. The hat part has an integrated male screw-threaded portion(3) on the outer circumference to be threaded in the disk part. The disk part having the same axis with the hat part has integrated female screwed threads(7) on the inner circumference for being coupled with the male screw-threaded portion of the disk part. The hat part is made of lighter materials including aluminum than the disk part. The disk part is made of grey cast iron for having high frictional resistance and thermal conductivity.
