PURPOSE:To omit fitting work of a water level detector to a bathtub and make setting of water level possible without restricted by positional relation to the bathtub by making operation of a pump intermittently when pouring, detecting water level of the bathtub when the pump is at a standstill, and setting a high water level on the basis of flat output value of the detected value. CONSTITUTION:A pump 5 is operated intermittently, and water level of a bathtub is detected by a water level sensor 17 when the pump is at a standstill. Thereby, the sensor 17 can be installed in the bath unit 1, and accordingly, fitting work of the sensor 17 to the bathtub can be omitted. Further, high water level LMAX is set on the basis of flat output value LBA of the detected value of the sensor 17, and thereby, water level can be set without restricted by positional relation to the bathtub.
