PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a 3D image display device is provided to prevent a 3D crosstalk by forming a total reflection part in the second substrate of a display panel, thereby improving the characteristics of the 3D viewing angle, aperture, and brightness. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a 3D image display device comprises the following steps: A 3D image display device(10) comprises a display panel(20), the first polarizing film(50), and a patterned retarder(60). The display panel comprises the first substrate defining a pixel area by a crossing of a gate line and a data line, and the second substrate formed in the upper part of the first substrate. The display panel displays a left eye image and a right eye mage. The polarizing film is formed on the upper part of the second substrate. The patterned retarder is formed on the upper part of the polarizing film, and comprises a left eye retarder left handed-polarizing the left eye image, and a right eye retarder right handed-polarizing the right eye image. The total reflection part is formed in a boundary part of the pixel area in the second substrate, and totally reflects a tilted incident light.
