PURPOSE: A strain gauge attaching device is provided to accurately measure residual stress and to improve workability by measuring in a state where a strain gauge is attached to the surface of a steel sheet using a magnet. CONSTITUTION: A strain gauge attaching device comprises a main body(100), a cylinder(300), a moving member(400), a grinding member(500), a nozzle member(600), and a press member(700). Electromagnets(130) are coupled to the bottom of both sides of the main body, and the main body is attached to a steel sheet(10). Adhesive is supplied into a rod of the cylinder. The moving member has a first hole(421) and second holes(422). The rod vertically ascends and descends through the first and second holes according to the moved positions. If the rod is ascended, the grinding member is positioned in the first hole. When the rod is descended, the grinding member moves down to grind the surface of the steel sheet by the rotation of the cylinder.
