PURPOSE: An electric vacuum pump is provided to effectively emit frictional heat generated by the friction between a rotor rotating at a high speed and cap rings for forming a vacuum state. CONSTITUTION: An electric vacuum pump comprises a pump unit(20), a motor unit(10), and a chamber unit(30). The pump unit inhales or discharges air for generating a vacuum state. The motor unit provides a driving force to the pump unit. The chamber unit is installed in the lower part of the pump unit, and a space temporarily storing the discharged from the pump unit at high pressure is formed inside the chamber unit. The pump unit includes a rotor rotating at a high speed by using received the torque of the motor unit, cap rings(24-26), an upper plate, and a base plate. The cap ring includes a first cap ring(241) and a second cap ring(242). |
