PURPOSE: A digital broadcasting system for watching programs by corners and a service providing method thereof are provided to consecutively play a corner by selecting a desired corner from broadcasting contents and collecting the selected corner according to times of a series. CONSTITUTION: A content providing server(310) provides a content file about requested broadcasting contents. A corner information providing server(330) extracts each corner of the contents by analyzing a frame structure of the content file. The server provides play point identification information by corners to an EPG(Electronic Program Guide) providing server(320). The server groups corners having interconnectivity from the identification information of the corner. The server provides a corner group watching service or a corner series-watching service.
