PURPOSE: An electronic watt-hour meter having an automatic recovery function of a communication failure is provided to previously prevent an accident through the minimization of a human resource and failure recovery time and the improvement of stability by automatically recovering a communication failure by a communication module. CONSTITUTION: An electronic watt-hour meter includes an MCU(10), a communication circuit sensing part(20), a power circuit part(40), a communication part(50), a communication circuit part(51), and a power supply circuit part(52). A communication circuit sensing part senses the interruption of a communication signal transmitted through the communication circuit part of a communication part. A power circuit part supplies power supply to the power circuit part of a communication part and has a reset switch resetting a supply power. The MCU resets a communication part by outputting a reset signal in a communication circuit part in case of exceeding a reference time when checking a communication signal interruption state sensed from a communication circuit sensing part for a certain time.
