PURPOSE: A sound output device using a vacuum tube switching a switching unit which connects between the vacuum tube and a power supply unit depending on whether the vacuum tube is in use or not, an audio apparatus thereof and a sound output method thereof are provided to amplify a bypassed audio signal and to provide the amplified audio signal to a speaker. CONSTITUTION: A communications interface unit(110) receives audio content from an external device. A user interface unit(120) displays a variety types of information provided by an audio apparatus by including multiple function keys capable of setting up various functions. A storage unit(130) is able to store the received audio content through the communications interface unit. The storage unit stores the audio content transformed to digital content. An audio processing unit(140) performs a signal process such as audio decoding for inputted audio content or the stored audio content in the storage unit.
