PURPOSE: A timber collecting machine is provided to reduce resistance applying to a towing wire and a drum, and to obtain the stability of a collecting machine. CONSTITUTION: A timber collecting machine comprises a support pillar, an edge wire guide(50), a top central wire guide(52), an upper lateral wire guide(51), a middle lateral wire guide(40), a support wire drum, a winding drum(80), a towing wire(7), a towing wire guide drum(10), and a traverse device(100). The support pillar is vertically erected on the center of a top plate of a timber collecting machine body(1). In the top central wire guide, a roller support shaft(52b) is installed on a support piece(52a), which is installed on the top center of an upper horizontal support plate(3), in order to mount a guide roller(52c). The support wire drum controls the rotation of a support wire winding drum(60e). The towing wire winding drum rotates a winding part(8a) of the winding drum. The towing wire is wound on the exterior of the winding part of the winding drum.
