A ceiling type air conditioner is provided to simply and detachably mount a heater to a grill between a front panel and a blower unit by heater supporting units instead of any additional tools. A ceiling type air conditioner includes a main body(10) mounted with a heat exchanger(13) and a blower unit(12), a front panel(20) covering a lower surface of the main body and formed with an inlet(21) and an outlet. A heater(30) is mounted at the inlet for heating air inhaled forcedly by the blower unit, wherein the heater is mounted to a grill positioned between the front panel and the blower unit. The grill is a suction grill(23) mounted to the front panel or a safety grill(16) mounted in front of the blower unit. The heater is fixed to the grill by heater supporting units, which includes a body part of a predetermined height, grill holders formed at both sides of the body part to be fixed to the grill, and heater holders fixed to the heater. |
