PURPOSE: An optical film, a manufacturing method, and a display device having the same are provided to improve brightness of light supplied to a display panel. CONSTITUTION: An optical film(160) includes a base film(210), a plurality of thin film patterns(220), and cholesteric liquid crystals(240). A plurality of thin film patterns is separately formed with each other on a base film and has hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity. The cholesteric liquid crystals have hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity, are formed on the thin film patterns, transmit right-circular polarized light or left-circular polarized light and reflect the other one.
