PURPOSE: A device for sensing a surface shape of a steel plate is provided to project lights on a surface of a steel plate by using a light projector and to senses a surface shape of the steel plate by using whether lights reflected by the surface of the steel plate are received by a light receiving device or not. CONSTITUTION: A device for sensing a surface shape of a steel plate comprises a light transmitting unit(100) and light receiving unit. The light receiving unit is arranged in one side of a steel plate. The light transmitting unit comprises a light projector. The light projector projects lights to a direction inclined with respect to a surface of the steel plate. The light receiving unit is arranged by spacing from the light transmitting unit while having the steel plate in the middle. The light receiving unit comprises a light receiving device. The light receiving device receives the lights being generated by the light projector and reflected by the steel plate. |
