PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cross member for a commercial vehicle is provided to reduce the weight of the vehicle and to enhance corrosion resistance by using a carbon fiber reinforced plastic for the cross member. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a cross member for a commercial vehicle is as follows. A prepreg(20) is laminated in a mold. The mold where the prepreg is laminated is put into an autoclave(21) so that the cross member is molded at high temperature and high pressure. The molded cross member is separated from the mold.
