PURPOSE: A power saving type financial device, and a power saving system and a method thereof are provided to minimize unnecessary power consumptions. CONSTITUTION: A financial device comprises: a communication processing part(110), a display unit(120), a card unit(130), a passbook unit(140), a cash unit(150), a controller(160), and a power saving unit(170). The communication processing part processes the communication with a host server. The display unit displays a financial transaction service screen. The card unit reads the information of a card for the financial transaction service. The cash unit provides cash or check for the financial transaction service. The controller changes the financial device into the power saving mode after receiving a power saving mode entry request from the host server, and initializes the display unit, the card unit, and the cash unit after receiving a power saving mode clear request from the host server. After completing the initializing of the display unit and the card unit, the controller progresses first the transaction and then confirms the completion of the cash unit initializing again. The controller outputs an advertisement through the display unit in case the cash unit initialization is not complete. The power saving unit is controlled by the controller, and controls the power supply to the financial device.
