PURPOSE: A method for controlling the stopping speed pattern of an elevator is provided to have excellent riding comfort by controlling an S-shaped speed control pattern when the elevator is stopped. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the stopping speed pattern of an elevator is as follows. A speed pattern when the elevator is stopped is divided into two speed patterns. One speed pattern from beginning to the half of the final stopped time is calculated by a first predetermined equation.
