Device for emptying a disposable syringe against high pressure, with a receptacle for the disposable syringe to be emptied, a connecting rod movable in the direction of the receptacle, provided with a rearwardly pointing toothing and acting upon the piston of the disposable syringe, a fixed gripping piece guiding the connecting rod and a movable gripping piece to be moved in the direction of the fixed gripping piece counter to the pressure of a gripping spring for emptying of the disposable syringe taken up by the receptacle and carrying a rocker acting upon the toothing by spring force. There is a locking means which is mounted on the fixed gripping piece, acts resiliently upon the toothing of the connecting rod and permits a return movement of the connecting rod on release of the movable gripping piece and when a predetermined back-pressure is exceeded.
