With this peeling and drawing tool, the aim is to achieve to a large degree of self-centring and satisfactory surface quality, while producing short curled strips. This aim is achieved by means of a negative rake angle of the cutting edge at the peeling die, while the chips are curled and broken by means of recesses in the radial direction.
