The invention relates to a feed device for feeding in filler material vertically and concentrically into the accelerator pot of a centrifuge, in particular a continuous sugar centrifuge, consisting of a shut-off element, provided in a feed pipe, for the filler material, a variable through-flow cross-section, which determines the respective throughput, for the filler material and a guide device which is arranged vertically and concentrically for guiding the stream of filler material. In order to reduce the constructional outlay and the maintenance costs, there is provision according to the invention for the variable through-flow cross-section and the guide device to be formed by at least two nozzles which taper in the direction of flow, the first nozzle projecting concentrically into the second nozzle which has a larger nozzle opening and forming therewith a conical annular channel which is connected to an overflow, provided at the upper end of the first nozzle, for the flow material.
