An air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to quickly heat the inside of the vehicle during an initial ignition by using high-temperature refrigerant which is separated from bypassed refrigerant of a compressor. An air conditioning system for a vehicle comprises a compressor(10), a condenser(20) and a bypass valve(50) through which refrigerant of the compressor is bypassed during a heating mode. A vortex tube(30) divides the bypassed refrigerant into high-temperature refrigerant and low-temperature refrigerant, and discharges them to a high-temperature outlet(34) and a low-temperature outlet(36), respectively, during the heating mode. An opening/closing valve(60) opens the low-temperature outlet during the heating mode. A return line(62) returns the low-temperature refrigerant to an inlet side of the compressor. An evaporator(40) generates hot air to heat the inside of the vehicle. |
