<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of any defective fastening even when the relative position of a nut hole to the bolt axis, and the relative angle to the axial direction of the nut hole are deviated. <P>SOLUTION: The relative position to a nut hole 22 and the relative angle to the axial direction of the nut hole 22 with respect to the axis of a bolt 20 to be held by a bolt fastening means 12 of a bolt-nut fastening device 10 are obtained by a detection means 16. A control means 18 determines the position of the moving destination in the two-dimensional direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the bolt 20 to be held by the bolt fastening means 12 based on the relative angle of the direction of the axis 22a of the nut hole 22 which is obtained by the detection means 16 with respect to the axis 20a of the bolt 20 to be held by the bolt fastening means 12. Then, the bolt fastening means 12 is moved from the obtained current location to the determined position in the two-dimensional direction by an aligning means 14.
