<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic traveling system using an automatic traveling vehicle, which is not easily influenced by noise in traveling position detection and facilitates vehicle restart or the like when a trouble occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic traveling vehicle 1 comprises: a vehicle base part 10 capable of traveling on a track; a guidance line sensor 2 for detecting a guidance line 21 provided on the track; a controller 4 which makes the vehicle base part travel along the guidance line detected by the guidance line sensor and has an information read part for reading control information 24, 25 provided on the guidance line; and a color sensor which detects a color of color guides 31, 32 provided separately from the guidance line on the track.
