<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use surplus power for power required at start of a train or required for a room lamp, a night light, etc., by generating power during travel of the train. <P>SOLUTION: In addition to wheels for travel, the train is provided with wheels for power generation, and a vertical axis rotation transmitting gear 1 which converts their rotation into vertical axis rotation, is connected with a horizontal axis 8 of the wheels 9 to convert its horizontal axis rotation into the vertical axis rotation. The vertical axis rotation is transmitted to a horizontal rotation transmitting gear 3 of a power generator 5 via a vertical axis 2 such as a propeller shaft, etc., and the rotation of the wheels 9 is transmitted to the power generator 5 during travel of the train to generate power.
