METHOD AND KIT FOR DETECTING HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS

PURPOSE: A method and a kit for detecting human papillomavirus are provided to accurately and sensitively detect the human papillomarivus by each type. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting a human papillomavirus type comprises: a step of performing primary PCR amplification of L1 gene using first and second primers which is conjugated with a nuclease-recognizing marker; a step of adding exonuclease and decomposing a nucleic acid strand which is elongated from the second primer to obtain a single stranded L1 gene product which is elongated from the first primer; a step of performing secondary amplification of the single stranded L1 gene using a secondary primer which is not conjugated with the marker; a step of hybridizing the amplified single stranded nucleic acid with a probe for detecting human papillomavirus type; and a step of measuring a signal generated from the hybridized reactant.
