<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television telephone apparatus and television telephone system which utilizes the constitution of the television telephone apparatus, thereby expanding the use range of the television telephone apparatus and enabling a user to do an exercise desired to do and get to know the quantity of the motion of the exercise. <P>SOLUTION: The television telephone apparatus, which comprises a camera and a display capable of displaying an image taken by the camera, displays on the display an exercise image taken by the camera and calculates the quantity of the motion from the taken exercise image.
