<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insulation cover which is water resistent and can be repeatedly reused. <P>SOLUTION: An insulation cover 3 with water repellency covers an object to be insulated from the outside so as to be removable from the outside for thermal insulation. The cover includes a plate-like sheet of aerogel blanket 1 which has a thickness of 30 mm or less and is enclosed in a heat insulating wrapping cloth 4a. The aerogel blanket, which is a heat insulating material having water vapor permeability, is made by combining silica aerogel (silica xerogel, etc. are acceptable) having a nano-size porous convoluted structure with a glass fiber supporting body (carbon fiber, PET fiber, and silica fiber are acceptable). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
