DUST CORE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND COIL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a dust core, capable of reducing the cost of mass production.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a dust core comprises: a step S1 of obtaining a dust core, using a mold, by pressure molding insulation-coated pure iron powder or iron-based alloy powder containing iron as its main component; a step S2 of performing a heat treatment to the dust core thus obtained; and a step S3 of performing a post processing by using a grinding stone to at least a portion of the heat-treated dust core. In the step of performing the post processing, traces of the processing generated on a processed surface of the dust core are made isotropic by performing a grinding while autorotating the dust core and the grinding stone.
