<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel interior trim part for an automobile capable of attaining weight reduction and reduction in manufacturing cost, without impairing an excellent using feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This interior trim part for the automobile is provided by sticking the skin 3 to a surface of a resin base material 11 via a shock absorbing material layer 2, and the shock absorbing material layer 2 is constituted of a three-dimensional solid fabric of connecting a part between a surface layer and a reverse surface layer made of a honeycomb-shaped woven cloth by an infinite number of bent fibers. This shock absorbing material layer 2 is adhered and fixed to the surface of the resin base material 1.
