PLASMA GENERATING DEVICE, AND CLEANING PURIFIER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma generating device which is arranged so as to prevent an unstable discharge phenomenon as well as the clogging of a gas passage after the end of discharge occurrence.

SOLUTION: The plasma generating device 1 comprises: a liquid-storing part 3 for storing liquid including water; a gas-storing part 4 for storing gas; a gas passage 5a for leading the gas in the gas-storing part 4 to the liquid-storing part 3; a partition part 5 for dividing the liquid-storing part 3 and the gas-storing part 4; a first electrode 10 provided in the gas-storing part 4; and a second electrode 11 provided so as to be in contact with the liquid in the liquid-storing part 3. The gas in the gas-storing part 4 is sent to the liquid-storing part 3 through the gas passage 5a, during which the gas is pressurized. The plasma generating device further comprises: a gas-supplying part for supplying gas containing oxygen to the gas-storing part 4; a plasma-power-source part for generating plasma of the gas pressurized and sent to the liquid in the liquid-storing part 3 by causing a discharge between the first electrode 10 and the second electrode 11; and deposit-removing means for physically removing a deposit A on the gas passage 5a.
