<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying alcohol for performing predetermined quality control, even when the water content in unpurified alcohol is fluctuated. <P>SOLUTION: This alcohol purification apparatus for obtaining purified alcohol from alcohol-containing liquid is provided with: a first ion exchange means 23 for performing ion exchange processing to the alcohol-containing liquid; a dehydration film 24 for dehydrating the liquid treated by the first ion exchange means 23 by pervaporation or vapor permeation; a distillation means 25 for distilling the liquid dehydrated by the dehydration film 24; a measuring means 28 for measuring the alcohol concentration or the water concentration by using liquid obtained from the outlet of the dehydration film 24 or liquid flowing through a subsequent stage of the dehydration film as a measuring object; and a circulation line 29 for returning the measuring object liquid to a preceding stage of the first ion exchange means 21. When the alcohol concentration or the water concentration does not fulfill a set condition, the measuring object liquid is returned to the inlet side of the first ion exchange means 23 through the circulation line 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
