<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the majority of chips is left around a workpiece and the rest scatters to a periphery while working is carried out on a top panel, therefore, in chip processing, the operation is stopped, the chips are gathered at one place with a tool such as a broom, put together in a dustpan, and then stored in a box dedicated to chips or in a mounted hopper, but, it takes a lot of trouble with the gathering and arrangement of the chips and the tools such as the broom and dustpan are necessary to gather the chips, and that, chip processing is still performed through the operation like this. <P>SOLUTION: A boring workbench comprises a workbench which has a chip passage hole, the hopper provided under the chip passage hole, and a chip drawer provided to a bottom part of the hopper. A base for a working tool is magnetically attached to the workbench, and the tool of the magnetically attached working tool is configured to reach the chip passage hole.
