<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery, in which airtightness between a sealing member sealing a through hole of a battery case and the battery case can be properly checked, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a battery 1 includes: a temporary sealing step of fitting a rubber-like plug body 62 of an inner sealing member 60 with a through hole 12H from outside, tightly sealing the through hole 12H, and arranging a pre-recovery cancellation member 80 with a second shape K2; a fastening step of covering the through hole 12H, the pre-recovery cancellation member 80 and the inner sealing member 60 with an outer sealing member 50 from the outside, and air-tightly fastening the outer sealing member 50 to a through hole peripheral edge 12c of a battery case 10; and a cancellation step of increasing a temperature of the pre-recovery cancellation member 80 to not less than a shape-recovery temperature Tg to recover the shape into a post-recovery cancellation member 70 with a first shape K1, and moving the rubber-like plug body 62 to cancel the sealing of the through hole 12H by the rubber-like plug body 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
