<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector of gas concentration in breathing whose handy unit for blowing breathing is made into compact size and light weight without causing lengthening of time required for measurement and deterioration of measurement accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A detector of gas concentration in breathing comprises: a control unit equipped with a light source, a light receiving sensor which receives light from the light source, and a gas concentration calculation part which calculates concentration of specific gas on the basis of a signal from the light receiving sensor; a handy unit having a measurement space which is separately constituted from the control unit and for blowing breathing, a light emission part which emits the light in the measurement space, and a light receiving part which is arranged at a position different from that of the light emission part in the measurement space and on which the light emitted from the light emission part is made incident; a first optical fiber which transmits the light from the light source to the light emission part; and a second optical fiber which transmits the light received by the light receiving part to the light receiving sensor, and calculates concentration of the specific gas in the breathing blown in the measurement space by the gas concentration calculation part on the basis of the intensity of the light received by the light receiving sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
