<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure that reduces weight while maintaining support strength. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body structure 100 which supports steering suspension parts including a steering shaft 126 includes: a front side steering support member 110 which is extended in the vehicle width direction and has both ends 110a, 110b fixed to dash side panels 106a, 106b; and a rear side steering support member 112 which is extended substantially in parallel to the frond side steering support member at the rear side of the front side steering support member and has both ends connected to the front side steering support member via intermediate brackets 114a, 114b without reaching the dash side panels.
