<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dryer capable of preventing reduction in negative ions due to heat or the like, increasing the generation amount of negative ions, and making the negative ions reach farther. <P>SOLUTION: The hair dryer 1 includes: a cylindrical main ventilation path 14 having a suction opening 15 at one end and a main outlet opening 16 at the other side to circulate air; a fan 18 for blowing the air, which is provided on the upstream side within the main ventilation path 14; a heater 17 for heating the air, which is provided on the downstream side; and a sub-ventilation path 21 branched from a portion between the fan 18 and heater 17 in the main ventilation path 14 to branch the air. The sub-ventilation path 21 includes at least a discharge electrode 24 of an ion generating means for generating negative ions, a cooling means 28 for cooling the branched air, and an outlet opening 23 for releasing the branched air, the outlet opening being provided so as to communicate with the main ventilation path 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
