<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator discharging higher-quality mist by optimizing a configuration of an atomization part. <P>SOLUTION: This mist generator 3 includes: a vibrating plate 12 having the atomization part 11 formed with a plurality of micropores; and a piezoelectric oscillator 13 as a vibration generation means membrane-vibrating the vibrating plate 12.
