摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, an image processing method and the like capable of reducing the noise of an image by vector quantization. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an image obtaining portion; an addition image generating portion 130; a quantization processing portion 200; an addition image regenerating portion 210; and an estimation computing portion 230. The addition image generating portion 130 obtains first to nth addition images by successively pixel-shifting an addition unit. The quantization processing portion obtains the average of the first to nth addition images as an average image, and obtains differences between the average image and the first to nth addition images as first to nth difference images. The quantization processing portion 200 sets difference vectors on the basis of pixel values of the obtained first to nth difference images, and the set difference vectors are vector-quantized. The addition image regenerating portion 210 reproduces the addition image from the difference vector which is vector-quantized.
