IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND DOCUMENT READING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of recording a captured image at a desired timing without requiring a user any particular operation to hold a document at a proper posture by hand during document reading operation.

SOLUTION: The image processing device is configured including: a page outline detection section 32 that extracts outline components of a document from a captured image; a specific region setting section 33 that sets specific regions A1 and A2 in the captured image; a finger recognition section 31 that recognizes a finger of a user in the specific region; a movement detection section 35 that detects a movement of the finger recognized by the finger recognition section 31; and an image storage 36 that records the captured image based on the detection result of the movement detection section when an operation instruction given by the user is determined.
