<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus for a vehicle, which stops idling stop by promptly and accurately detecting the movement of a vehicle, in the vehicle where idling stop of an engine is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The control apparatus includes: an engine rotation speed detection means for detecting a rotation speed of an engine; and a rotation speed sensor which outputs a forward movement side pulse or a backward movement side pulse indicating a rotation speed and a rotation direction of an output shaft of a CVT (automatic transmission). When a predetermined permission condition is established and idling stop of the engine is permitted, it is determined whether or not the engine is stopped (S200, S202) and before it is determined that the engine is stopped and when a plurality of (four) predetermined pulses are outputted, it is determined that a vehicle is moved (S204, S206). On the other hand, after it is determined that the engine is stopped and when at least one pulse less than the four pulses is outputted, it is determined that the vehicle is moved (S210 to S214), idling stop is stopped and the engine is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
