PURPOSE: A wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin is provided to have a low dielectric loss in a high frequency region, to have high heat resistance, and to generate a small amount of outgas in a high temperature process. CONSTITUTION: A wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin comprises a repeating unit(A) derived from an aromatic hydroxy carboxylic acid; a repeating unit(B) derived from an aromatic diol; and a repeating unit (C) derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. The repeating unit (A), (B) and (C) satisfies 0.45≤n(A)/[n(A)+n(B)+n(C)]≤0.75, 0.25≤[n(B)+n(C)]/[n(A)+n(B)+n(C)]≤0.55, and 90/100≤n(C)/n(B)≤100/90, where n(A), n(B) and n(C) are numbers of moles of the repeating unit (A), (B) and (C) included in the wholly aromatic liquid crystal polyester resin respectively.
