<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip fitting for ceiling backing, which prevents a ceiling joist of lip channel from opening so that an engaging part can be appropriately supported by the lip part of the ceiling joist, even when a considerable load is applied to the ceiling joist. <P>SOLUTION: A clip fitting 4 comprises a fixing board 6 which is horizontally laid across both lip parts 5o and 5o of a ceiling joist 5 of a lip channel so as to be fixed, and a pair of fitting bodies 7 and 7 on both sides. Both of the fitting bodies 7 and 7 include holding parts 8 and 8 which hold a ceiling joist receiver 3, junctions 10 and 10 at the respective upper ends of both of the holding parts 8 and 8, and engaging parts 11 and 11 which engage the respective undersides of both of the lip parts 5o and 5o of the ceiling joist 5. Stopper pieces 13 and 13 projecting at both ends of the fixing board 6 are inserted in and engaged with window parts 14 and 14 opening through the respective lower ends of both of the holding parts 8 and 8. In a state that the engaging parts 11 and 11 of both of the holding parts 8 and 8 engage the respective undersides of both of the lip parts 5o and 5o of the ceiling joist 5, and that both of the stopper pieces 13 and 13 of the fixing board 6 engage the respective window parts 14 and 14 of both of the holding parts 8 and 8, both of the junctions 10 and 10 are fastened with screws 16 and 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
