<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden for an operator by making therapeutic ultrasonic wave power possible to be automatically adjusted depending on a position of the therapeutic area. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional therapeutic area 502, specified in an image including a lesion part visualized on a monitor, is divided into a plurality of three-dimensional divided areas 503, 504, 505 extending from the center to marginal regions. And, the therapeutic ultrasonic wave power, to be irradiated for each of the divided areas, is set in reducing depending on distance from the center of the therapeutic area. In other words, the burden of the operator is reduced by dividing the therapeutic area into a plurality of the divided areas and automatically setting up the therapeutic ultrasonic wave power for each of a plurality of the divided areas.
